Value / Support Offered to Small Busiensses
One Safe Tasmania has been created with one specific goal: to help Tasmanian small and medium sized enterprises get their safety management sorted. As small business owners ourselves, we understand that SME operators don’t necessarily have a lot of time or resources to invest in safety management. We get that what they need most is to be able to quickly and easily determine what their safety responsibilities are, what that means they have to do and provide, and how to do that well.
That’s where we can help. We provide free support through advisory and consultancy services, workshops and training programs, and coaching and mentoring. We help with everything from addressing a single safety-related question or issue, to developing safety systems and documentation, to scaling up safety leadership and culture for the whole organisation. Our resources and services are designed to be user-friendly, engaging, and accessible so business owners can easily find what they need, and tap into our support when they want it. Our aim is to help SMEs develop strong safety cultures, excellent safety practices, and robust and reliable safety systems. We help get them get safety management sorted, so they can provide safer work environments for themselves and their staff, and be more competitive and attractive as suppliers to larger organisations.
