UTAS Tax Clinic

Outline of the Organisation

The UTAS Tax Clinic continues to demonstrate its value as both a community service provider and a student training hub. The Tax Clinic offer Tax Agent Services to the community at no cost if the individual is eligible for our services. We can provide tax agent services to small businesses together with advice in relation to the tax portions of their business. We have locations in Hobart, Launceston and Devonport and have capacity to serve Tasmania as a whole. We have other aspects of the Clinic, whereby we can also assist PALM and Remote and Indigenous Communities through separately funded initiatives.

Value / Support Offered to Small Businesses

We can provide taxation advice to small businesses together with educational workshops in relation to the taxation needs of small businesses.

We can also assist with completing the client’s tax returns through their MyGov account.
